These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Fly Drone Services's Website, located at https://flydroneservices.co.uk.
Weather & Flight Safety
Drone flights depend on safe weather conditions. Flights may be postponed or rescheduled in cases of:
High winds
Rain or drizzle
Snow, fog, or poor visibility
Any unsafe flying conditions
Safety always takes priority. If weather prevents safe operation, the appointment will be rescheduled.
Legal & Safety Requirements
All drone operations are conducted in accordance with UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) regulations.
Flights may be declined or rescheduled if:
The location is within restricted airspace
The environment is considered unsafe
Legal flight requirements cannot be met
Roof & Solar Imagery Disclaimer
Our services provide aerial photographs and video for visual reference only.
We do not provide inspections, surveys, structural assessments, electrical testing, or professional advice regarding roofs or solar panel systems.
Drone imagery should not be interpreted as an inspection, diagnosis, or professional opinion regarding the condition, safety, or performance of any roof or solar installation.
Any interpretation of imagery should be carried out by a qualified professional such as a roofing contractor, surveyor, or solar technician.
Access & Permissions
Customers must ensure they have permission for drone operations at the property and that the location is safe and suitable for drone take-off and landing.
Image Delivery
Images and video files are normally delivered digitally within 24–48 hours after the flight. All images, video and deliverables remain the property of the company until full payment has been received.
Liability
While every reasonable care is taken during drone operations, we cannot be held responsible for decisions made based on the interpretation of imagery provided.
Image & Video Usage
All photographs and video footage captured by Fly Drone Services remain the intellectual property of Fly Drone Services.
Upon full payment, customers are granted a non-exclusive licence to use the images and video for personal use, property marketing, business promotion, and social media.
Images and video may be cropped, resized, or lightly edited for standard use. However, they may not be resold, licensed to third parties, or used for commercial resale without prior written permission.
Fly Drone Services reserves the right to use images and video for portfolio, website, social media, and promotional purposes unless the customer requests otherwise in writing prior to the flight.
Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to cancel or stop a flight if weather, safety, or legal requirements make the operation unsafe.
Payment & Booking Terms
Payment is due upon completion of the service unless agreed in advance. Images and video may be released once payment has been received. Travel fees may apply depending on location and will be agreed before the booking. Cancellations or rescheduling due to weather will not incur any additional charges.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
Customers may cancel or reschedule due to weather or other circumstances. We ask for at least 24 hours notice where possible.
If we need to reschedule due to weather, no additional charges will apply.
If a customer cancels after travel has already begun, we reserve the right to charge a call-out fee to cover travel costs.
Agreement to Terms
By booking or using our services, you agree to these terms and conditions.
